Membership to the Indiana Boer Goat Classic is open to any individual who breeds and/or has an interest in the Boer Goat breed or meat goats, or wants to support activities for junior showmen in Indiana. To attend meetings, participate and vote on matters relevant to the IBGC individuals must have current, paid to date membership. People interested in learning more about the IBGC activities are welcome to attend any event as a guest of a current member on a one-time basis only. The only exception to this are any events awarding junior points.
Membership is not required for exhibitors at Open Shows, but current paid membership is required in order to participate and receive awards in any Indiana Boer Goat Classic Junior event, including the Summer Show Series and Points Awards Program. Membership applications and fees are accepted throughout the year and can be completed when entering any individual show, prior to showing. Juniors become eligible to earn points on the date membership is paid. The Points Awards Program will be limited to Indiana Boer Goat Classic members.
The Family/Farm membership includes a listing in the IBGC Directory Breeders Listing with up to 100 words and a link to the member’s website, and a listing in a printed directory should one be published. An individual may chose a family/farm membership and receive the the same listing, etc. Remember to check the box at List me in the Breeders Directory if you want to be listed in the directory, and if you want a description of your operation added, write up to 100 words on the back of the membership applicaton.
Family/Farm Membership $35.00 (1 vote)
Family is defined as children and parents, custodial grandparents, or legal guardians
Individual Membership $25.00 (1 vote)
Junior Membership $10.00 (non-voting)
(18 or under as of January 1st of the current show year)
(for juniors not part of a family membership)
